Hi,

I was checking out the Shure SE530 earphones and, considering i'm not so familiar with high-end IEMs, i asked myself what are the full-size headphones that sounds the most like the SE500/530?

Any answers?

I'd like to know as well. I basically want a headphone that offers similar performance to the SE530. Strong mids, very solid punchy dark bass and nice low end separation.

If I could jam my HD650's into my ear canal, they'd be the E500's.

HD 650's are open though and they leak sound.

I hear AKG271s are more like it.

I get a similar signature with my HD650. IMHO, I don't think the signature is much like my AKG K271S though.
