As recommended by Agnostic in an earlier post I downloaded the latest version of Foobar 9.5 (previously using 9.4) and installed the WASAPI plugin as I was experiencing drop out problems with my ASIO. On using the WASPI plugin in the preferences I have found the sound to be more dynamic and open than previously, I don't know if this due to the new 9.5 version of foobar or the use of WASPI, can someone please explain what this plugin does particularly in comparison to the normal ASIO plugin which I have used in the past, I am using Vista Premium with Foobar and a RME 9632 soundcard.
