A friend of mine has been eyeballing the Meze headphones (particularly the 88 Classics), and he and I are curious if Meze is a particularly good brand. They seem to be a smaller and more obscure brand that isn't strictly into retail, but I've seen curiously little mention of them in my time perusing the forums on here. Are their headphones great? Would you recommend them for the price? Meze 88 Classics are sold for $309, so are they worth it?

Thanks, that was a helpful thread. Took a bit of reading but my friend and I are confident Meze is a good brand.
