Im considering an Oris Classic Modern (probably in brown/tan leather strap)

There are no dealers in my town; the closest one is 200 miles away
Furthermore, buying from an unauthorized dealer saves me as much as 50%!!!
Is it really terrible practice? The factory warranty is only 2 years, anyways, and I do not anticipate having problems in that time. After that duration, wouldn't the manufacturer treat all those watches the same, regardless of origin?
I figure ... heck, even if the thing breaks catastrophically on me... i can buy a brand new one for the price of a single watch from an authorized dealer
