What do you all do with extra slack from your Headphones and IEM's?

Those work great if cable is thinner.. unfortunately, not so much with most full size cans.

How do these differ to wrapping around the DAP?
I've been told and have read countless times that it is very bad to wrap the cord around the DAP. With my RE0's in particular, the cord has such annoying memory that they cord still holds shape of my iPod when unwound.

I let it loose if it isn't that long. If it is long enough to touch my knees then I wrap it loosely (if the cord is thick like Grados then I put a twist tie) and put it in the pocket beside my dap.

This too with my cans. My office area is truly a mess with all sorts of cables, and when I'm using my cans, the cable tends to join the mess.
