Im not sure but i think only their older players like the Jukebox 3 had line outs. None of the new ones have em. Fortunately for them their players sound fantastic straight out of the jack.
you know, i'm just going to give in to what i know i want and get a rio karma (new with new harddrive). use the headphone out normally, or from dock to amp at certain times perhaps (like long airplane flights etc.)

Correct, with the $30 Sik Din Line-Out. In addition, I must also include that the iAudio has line-out in sort of the same way as the Sik Din does it; with a 'Sub-Pack':
The 'sub-pack' comes with the iAudio, and extras are $9.
The new Creative-line up (Nomad Zen and beyond, but the Nomad Jukebox 3 does) do not have a line-out, as well as the Dell offerings.
