There are no differences sound wise between the colors.
 
Now, as for the best color- I'd say the white because it has the most color combinations with the shields, such as:
black, gunmetal, red, ocean blue, brush metal and so on, whereas the black and shadow only go with 1-3 matching colors.
 
Although, the matte black is the most solid of them all and has the looks of a professional headset, if you ask me.

Shadow is the best one. I've never liked white products except for the GS3, Note 2 and the Older White iPods.
