Hi,
I got my first amp there about two days ago - the little dot I+.

I currently have Grado 225i's and I want to get something different for when I want a change from the grado sound. I'm thinking something closed back also that will benefit from the I+.

I mainly listen to techno, rock etc.

Techno and any rock with atmosphere/spaciousness and a solid low end sounded pretty good coming from the LD 1+ and my Shure SRH-840's. Some believe that the Shures do not pair well with tube amps, but as the LD is a hybrid with solid state power, this may explain why they may pair well together. The SRH-840's are relatively low impedance cans, but certainly benefit from pairing with a suitable amp.
