HI: How much better is the Kimber Mini to Mini over the one that comes with the total airhead?

HI JOHN: The cable that comes with the airhead cost 20.00 the Kimber cost 45.00. I am not sure but I think headroom calls it a mini to mini straight wire. I bought 2 of them from headroom and now am wondering how much better if any is the Kimber cable or is it worth over twice the money?

Lou - Seeing as I own neither an Airhead nor either cable, I don't really feel qualified to comment. I just remembered that the Airhead came with a cable because I was considering getting one a while back. Anyway, you should check out this thread (read the whole thing, there are a bunch of conflicting view points): http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showt...&threadid=9774

HI: Thank you for that info. It is a bit confusing but since I already have 2 of the headroom mini to mini angled cables I think I will just use them. Headroom don't call them them mini to mini straight wire. They call them angled mini to mini plastic cable or something like that. I use one for my portable source to mini amp and one for my Max Out META42 to source and have great sound in both rigs.
Plastics One Mini to Mini is the right name that headroom calles them.
