I heard the author interviewed on NPR's Fresh Air. He's a fascinating person.

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
I've just started this book a week ago, but it has been a thoroughly entertaining read, thus far!
The late John le Carre's "The Honourable Schoolboy".

The whole trilogy is outstanding and based on well known historical facts.
Covers the time period 1911 to 1924 and follows
five families: English, Welsh, Russian, German and
American. The characters, as usual in Ken's books,
are very well done.
It was indeed a joy to read.
