The fourth installment of the Kingsbridge Series which,
owing to the new Pillars' prequel, spans the time period
997 - 1620 mainly in the UK and Europe. An amazing
feat of writing.

Covers the time period 1911 to 1924 and follows
five families: English, Welsh, Russian, German and
American. The characters, as usual in Ken's books,
are very well done.
The whole trilogy is outstanding and based on well known historical facts.
It was indeed a joy to read.
