One of my favorite books. I hope the second book is as good as this one was.

I am currently reading The Demon Awakens by R.A. Salvatore.

I was planning on possibly reading that book next. How was it?

well since this is the first book i've read in the last 4 years for fun, take my impressions with a worth of salt. and i suck at reviewing things
well, I liked it but some people didn't and found the situation inside the dome was not believable(which i think it is), after the first chapter you will want to know how it ends, has a good speed to it, maybe one or two slow parts but you'll blaze through them but it's nicely paced. also you might keep yourself up wanting to know what happens next
and there is my ****ty review without revealing any spoilers

I would recommend the book

i just read 'A Dog Year' and 'A Good Dog', by Jon Katz. if you like dogs, they'll make you laugh, cry, and possibly give you a little more insight into human/canine relationships.

I have it for the next time I have time to read a fun book. Good to know that it will be a page turner!

Still going through reading Neal Stephenson's The Confusion, but in the mean time I've finished the audiobooks of both Cryptonomicon and Anathem. Having an hour-long daily commute can let you polish off even the weightiest tomes!

At first I found it really difficult to keep up with Stephenson's asides and rambling sentences while focusing on the road, but after a while it became quite stimulating, especially driving back in the evening when I would otherwise want to fall asleep!

For the audiobook fans out there, William Dufris' narrative style matches perfectly with Neal Stephenson's writing style!
