i have for the last few months listened almost only to A State of Trance hosted by Armi van Buuren (bloody good) but today on a whim, I popped on Metallica Black Album and am listening to Enter Sandman. I am by no means a metal head, but after reading a review by MaZa who is auditioning his new dt880's I have placed metal between my ears. Having never bothered with it in a long time and long before the Heed, surprise, what is wrong with Beyers and Rock? Laid back a bit, but the instrument separation is beautiful.

Whoever is the lead vocalist whispers "off to never never land" and that whisper is completely in another part of the recording, not touching any of the instruments at all... beautiful... but had enough...

Paul Okenfold's Essential Mix (full moon Goa Party).

cheers, happy trance listening!

Using a Panasonic mini-stereo system as a headphone amp with DT770's =

. I've NEVER heard this much bass out of headphones. Thankfully, the stereo's EQ also reduces bass.
