Got the new Nina Nastasia going here, "On Leaving". Another beautiful Steve Albini recording. He even takes partial credit as producer on this one. Nice mastering on the CD too. Quiet and dynamic. I'm tempted to call her this generation's Joni Mitchell, but she'd have to be much more popular to get a tag like that. Incredible music just the same, even if few will ever know. Not sure yet if it rises to the heights of "The Blackened Air", one of my big favorites, but all of her 4 CDs have unforgettable moments that make them special.
