The Last Word
The Last Word is the name of this cocktail. It’s made of gin, green chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and lime juice.
A really nice cocktail especially if you like gin but I think even gin detractors may actually like it too.
This cocktail was in existence in the 1920s but fell out of favor in the following decades.
And especially in the 1970s, 80s and 90s cocktails were really out of fashion and considered something that grandma or old people would drink in a negative view.
Now in the 21st century cocktails are cool again and considered something fun and unique especially with the prohibition era drinks.
The new young generation is now discovering these old drinks from another time period and loving it

The Last Word is one of my favorites and especially good with reposado tequila or mezcal in place of the gin, which I call La Última Palabra.

^ I’ve had the mezcal version of The Last Word a few months ago. A Mexican gentleman sitting next to me paid for my drink because I told him that I like mezcal and he actually suggested that version of the drink. It’s very good.
I like beer a lot, too.well another stupid thread
mostly, especially at the weekends i have my beer and wine. This saturday is a lucky beer day
yes it is.
Today, i have my Grolsch and sometimes i'm getting weird and going for a Tuborg gold label.

Bees Knees
Bees Knees is the name of this cocktail. It’s another cocktail from the 1920s Prohibition era.
It’s made of gin, honey and lemon juice. Very nice drink. It’s also important that the lemon zest is properly twisted so the lemon oil perfumes the drink.
A lot of these old 1920s era cocktails are gin based. Vodka was not really a thing with cocktails until much later in mixology history.
Also the coupe glass is such a thing beauty. You need a proper coupe glass to fit the time period.

Analog Life (English style mild)
The name of the beer is called Analog Life and it is a low alcohol English style beer around 3%.
Why low alcohol?
Back in the Middle Ages low alcohol content beer was popular to drink. Workers in England would drink it to quench their thirst and it even provided calories for their bodies.
I like low alcohol beer and it usually goes well with food. Low alcohol beer can still have a lot of flavor so you are not sacrificing that rich flavor in any way. It also has a bit of that historical vibe too.
