Bloody Mary

Standard vodka version but extra spicy with extra Tabasco sauce added. The garnish is a house made pickle.

Very good cocktail. Well made and even the pickle is high quality with the perfect texture.

i especially appreciate that this restaurant makes their own pickles.

Heated discussion at home the other day after seeing the bacon option on the doordash menu for Five Guys shakes.

Two questions were to be asked if any of us saw someone order this.

1: What’s wrong with you?

2: Is it any good?

While not from Five Guys, I've had a bacon milkshake from I think Denny's and it was good. I like savory and sweet though. Which on that topic, a local ice cream shop made their own bourbon bacon caramel malt that was to die for. Had bits of bacon in it, and it was just perfect.

An outstanding drink. I have seen it in some coffee shops but from my experience it’s better to get it from a good Vietnamese restaurant.

Malted Milkshake with bacon

Yes you can mix bacon with a milkshake shake and it’s good.

I ordered a malted flavor milkshake from Five Guys (American chain restaurant) and they will add bacon to your milkshake if you request it.

In my opinion the malted flavor is best with the bacon combo.

I knew it was on the menu and never really considered trying it out. My rationale was that I'm already consuming 2k calories, I should hold off a bit from triggering the heart attack with a shake. lol I luv 5 guys burgers, but so bad for you.

wait, bacon?! I would never do that. You are much more adventurous than I.

^Well when I had the bacon milkshake, I had it by itself with no burger or fries.

Since it’s already a high calorie item, i just have it as a lunch and maybe have a fruit too like a peach from a supermarket. That way I won’t feel hungry after the meal.

It’s good to do at least once a summer especially on a hot day.

Freshly ground French Roast coffee. Black, hot, and strong....delicious. I am addicted. But as far as getting addicted, its more of a mental addiction than anything. And you can become mentally addicted to anything: such as reading, or falling down stairs (although I wouldn't recommend that).

Garden Mule

This version of the Garden Mule has vodka, lavender, thyme, genepy and ginger beer.

A very well made cocktail. Complex flavors. Personally this was the best ginger beer based cocktail I’ve ever had.

Death in the Afternoon.

The name of this cocktail is Death in the Afternoon. It’s also called the Hemingway Champagne.

This cocktail was invented by Ernest Hemingway. I assume he drank it while he was living in Paris.

It’s made of absinthe and champagne.

I thought it was interesting. I would probably add one sugar cube to slightly soften up the bite. But of course when you’re drinking absinthe, expect that bite.

Pisco sour is a cocktail from Peru. It is made with pisco, lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters and raw egg white.

What is pisco?

Pisco is a type of brandy made in Peru.

This is a very nice drink. It’s smooth and pleasant.
