Got back into Mahler in a serious way and "rediscovered" Bartok's string quartets after andrzejpw asked where he could buy the 2-CD set (Emerson Quartet). Also a lot of Jimi, Brahms, and Russian bard music.

I've been listening to some new with the old, Depeche Mode's classical Violator with Darren Hayes' new album - Spin which I think is really good but none of you do since no one replied in my thread about it

All I know from K's Choice is Not An Addict...that song sticks out in my mind from the radio a few years ago. Still hear it, or I would, if I listened to the radio anymore. Good stuff.

When I don't have my mp3s playing...
Caroline's Spine - Monsoon. In my CD player right now. Good heavy rock.
Good Charlotte - The Young and the Hopeless. Say what you will about Good Charlotte, but it's some nice smooth punk. Fun to listen to.
Falconer - Chapters from a Vale Forlorn. Melodic power metal. If you've never heard these guys, they have a couple of mp3s on their website .
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime. I fell asleep to this CD today. Some of the slowest stuff I have. This is the first concept album I got--still the best.
Iced Earth - Something Wicked This Way Comes. While I can't take some of their themes at face value, they put out some agressive songs.
