Hi People,

I wonder what sort of Software and hardware choice to use to play [HDTracks 24-192] so that it can shows its true quality ?

at the moment I'm using the following:

Hardware:
Windows 7 laptop
K-lite Audio Codec
Home PC -> TOS link cable -> DAC: Oritek OMZ Mod v4.1 -> VanDenHul "The Name" IC cable -> AMP: Lisa III XP -> BTG Sunset Custom Cable --> HiFiMan HE-500

Software:
Windows Media center classic home cinema (part of K-Lite codec)
Foobar with WASAPI Push

any kind of suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

?
If your setup works at 24/192 then it's all you need. DAC should be atleast 20-bit capable (i.e. 120dB). Equipment you have after the DAC is related to your taste and wealthy or stupidity.
