What are the most hours you have ever worked in one week?

This assumes that your position is part-time; those working full-time jobs usually work a minimum of 40 hours a week.

Under that criteria, the most that I've worked in one week so far is about 35 hours.

I don't see why we should exclude full-time workers. I think it'd be interesting to see how much overtime head-fi'ers put in while listening to their headphones at work.

With that said, working full-time, my max work week is around 60 hours. I worked 19 hours in one day once, listening to my HD600s the entire time

I was an investment banking analyst for 2 years, you want to talk about crazy work hours, that was miserable. I can honestly say I worked many 80+ hour weeks in those years. Weekends were just another work day, when you were on a live deal.

While I do miss the pay, I like having the time to actually spend money more.

thats the area of work i want to get to in the future (currently 2nd year uni).

I know about the terrible hours, but most people i've talk to say that although there are a lot of hours, at least they have something to do - which in a way makes it challenging and enjoyable (if you like that sort of work). Was this similar to your experience?

The most I worked in a week.. Has to be somewhere around 70 hours... That was no fun... 6:00 - 8:00 days... and this was a part time job!... Oh well.. I guess I got paid for it...

During my stint in the Navy our squadron was running at half the manpower we were supposed to have. Every day out at sea during that cruise was murder. I think we averaged about 16 hours a day almost every day at sea, so I'll pipe in with my total of 112, although it was probably more. Heh, what else you gonna do while in the middle of the ocean but work??
