One is £17 cheaper than the other but I can't find the differences between the two. Is it just that plastic cover and the microphone it comes with?

The first one (SB1500) comes with a EMI shield (metal shield) and a microphone and I'm assuming in a retail box.
The second one (OEM, SB1502) does not come with an EMI shield or a mic and comes in a plain box.
Otherwise the cards are the same and both should come with a driver/software CD.

Thank you for your reply! I think the OEM will be best for me.

Also, how do the DGX and the DSX compare to this?

I've just bought the DT770 80ohm for gaming and would like a sound card too.

The DGX is £23 and the DSX is £38. Are these worth considering over the OEM SBZ which is £50?

I have a personal preference for Asus sound cards.
But the SB-Z does comes with a better DAC chip and more powerful headphone amplifier, then the DG/DGX.
And the DT770 Pro 80-Ohm does it's best when it's gets more power.
