I am trying to choose the right sealed headphone for use with an Ipod.

I am a newbie when it comes to good cans...Please help.

Keep going all over as I have been trying to decide which is best the last 3 days.

Headphone.com seems to recommend the AKG K81DJ's quite a bit.

Much appreciated...

i love the denon d1001, they can be found for under $100 on amazon, isolation isnt great, but still works fine for portable use. They are extremely comfortable

If you don't have a budget, you won't have to choose from too much of a variety. A readily available , in production sealed headphone that sounds awesome unamped is the Edition 9 for $1400 retail, or around $1000 from the FS forums.

I just ordered the AKG K81 DJ headphones yesterday from buy.com.

From what I have researched, they seem like the best bang for the buck. But even setting that aside, I've been scouring the internet and these forums (especially) for reviews. And from what I can gather, they seem like a great pair of headphones to purchase.

X2.

They don't really stay on your head all that well either, and are sorta big and clunky, but they sound great and are easy to drive.
