I DO NOT WAN'T CANAL PHONES! I want true earbuds. I want to augment my staionary phone (A900) and my semi portable (SR60) with a good travel earbud set for ipod and laptop use.

Thanks,
Ron

Only thing I can think of in that class, are some of the Audio Technica earbuds. However, there isn't enough people around that has them to really form a concensus on how well they compare against other headphones yet.

Maybe you'll be one of the pioneers along with others on this site

I saw the Cm-7 today... phwoar looks nice :p - my bro just got the CM-5's and they are burning in as we speak.... i have the E888's and i can highyly recommend them.... we'll see how the CM-5 sounds after burn in - i don't think the CM-7's are worth more than 2X of the CM-5 OR the E888's though

I have had 2 888s break on me, so the CM7s seems like a good buy. The CM7s are built like tanks, not to mention how much nicer they look and sound (granted it is most likely not 2x better in sound quality).
