Are you looking for open or closed? Open headphones generally have a bigger soundstage but don't isolate you from the environment and leak sound.

What device (make/model) do you plan to use your headphones with?

If you like some bass emphasis, Philips X1. Fairly easy to drive, so should work OK on your phone. I think they are comfortable, too.

Also those headphones are discontinued

The 1968 Shelby Mustang Cobra was discontinued, well, after 1968. Yet most true sports car afficianodos would die to have a like new condition one even though it has been "discontinued" for over 70 years:

Discontinued is not a reflection of quality.

Do they sound really good

I can't answer that for you. Everyone's tastes are a bit different. But generally they are considered good headphones for the money if you want open headphones with some bass emphasis that are easy to drive. 1968 + 70 = 2038
Time flies!

Agree on the X1
- BIG bass
- Easy to drive
- Big stage
- Lovely finish

You have to explain things better. Writing on an internet forum to get help is not text messaging. LOL

You mentioned something about about a DAC? Can you tell us a little more. :)
