Hi,
Getting a new pod... looking to engrave it with something from the brilliant bob d... either song titles or lyrics from his song

the engraving restriction is 2 lines w/ 27 characters per line

so far i have:
-"tomorrow is a long time" (title from bootleg series)
-"it takes a lot to laugh, it takes a train to cry" (title from highway 61)

id like 'you dont need a weatherman, to know which way the wind blows' but its too long of a phrase.... anyone with anything else? listening to his catalog now for ideas...

My friend has an iPod that says:

No other iPod engraving could possibly even come close to that level of awesomeness.

The character restriction is going to hurt you. One of my favorite lines, from My Back Pages, is "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now" -- but that will never fit.

You probably have to go with titles.
