I picked up a few different capacitors to try out, and I saw they had some Dale so I thought I'd get a couple to try, but they're 'mono' and I don't know what that means.. can I use them? (cmoy)

"Mono" refers to a "monolithic" or "multilayer" capacitor. This just refers to the
manufacturing process whereby the capacitor is formed by binding multiple, thin
sheets of ceramic on which electrodes have been painted (sandwich of sheets).
