Im looking into buying a better pair of headphones then my usual $60 Skullcandy ones. I listened to a ton of death metal/deathcore (and 2nd most is dubstep/electronic music) and I want to get a "quality" pair of headphones under $120. Thats the absolute highest I can go. What are great headphones for metal?? I am currently using a Logitech PC gaming headset even though I only play on Xbox.... lol.

Look into the Takstar Pro 80. Good headphones for <$100.

Also note that the Kingston Hyper Cloud headset is the Takstar Pro 80 with a mic. So that might work out well for your gaming

Would either of these headsets you mentioned work well with my phone? And do you know if the Kingston would work with console and not just PC?

I don't know enough about console connections. But yes. It would work with a phone.
