I know another newb with another Q.

If you have heard or own the HD-600's (w/equinox cable) what amp would you prefer to use with it? Listening to mainly rock and electronica (producing).

The gilmore v2 or meta42?

This comes up quite often... Everyone gets the hd600's and wants to upgrade their sound with an amp. Then they wander to head-fi asking which amp for the hd600's.

90% of the time the answer is the Antique Sound Labs MG/OTL. Its a great starting point for anyone with the desire to step into the head-fi world. Its affordable to most at around $325. Its performance generally takes people by surprise...Do some searching here, we have talked about the mg head so many times its not even funny. take care - Nefarion
