I have a HT Omega Striker soundcard and a Sennheiser 280 Pro.

It needs to have outputs for speaker and headphone so I can easily switch between the two. I'm under the impression that all amps do this? This is the main reason why I want one.

I have a budget of <$100.

I don't know if there is a $100 hp amp with a pre out for feeding speakers. You usually see this in more expensive amps. Type in $100 in the amp forum or the F/S amps forum to see whats available for the price.

Something you can do is to use a splitter out to feed both your hp and speaker amps. Much cheaper than buying a pre-amp with multiple outs. I would recommend that you only use one or the other to avoid weakening the signal.

Is this what your asking?

I think I can go a little higher with the budget. I was looking at the Little Dot II+; will that do what I want?

As for the splitter, would that make the speaker and headphone output at the same time?
