Just came across this while digging through the archives:

http://www.pwrplant.com/cd.html

4 volt (yup, it's a lead battery), 3.2Ah, size of a jewel case, so just slightly longer than a d-25s for instance. Form factor is a bit like the BP-100, but this one should last about three times longer I think.

You'd need to fashion some kind of cable connecting the battery's connector to the battery terminal for a BP2ex. Maybe even some kind of wooden block, roughly the shape of the BP2ex, put two screws in it with wires attached.

And then maybe a way to attach the battery to the PCDP, a piece of velcro or something like that. When done well it probably wouldn't look too bad and be quite portable, like a BP-100.

No interest then?

Does anyone here have this battery maybe?

BTW, I noticed it already comes with two pieces of velcro for attaching it to the bottom of a PCDP. Modern PCDPs are ofcourse already supported.

They also mention they make custom batteries, so maybe they could modify it to connect to a BP2ex battery terminal. Then again, demand might be too low for this.
