I picked up Fang's EF2 demo unit almost on impulse this Saturday at the NY meet.

I'm curious as to which headphones it would mate well with for a small computer-side setup.

I was considering Grado 225s or Beyer DT880s. I've owned senns in the past but have ultimately found them a little dull.

Can this thing drive AKGs? I haven't had much exposure to the 701/702, but loved my k501s and k1000s.

Thanks in advance for any direction/suggestions.

It's supposed to have great synergy with Grados. If you find Senns dull, you won't find Grados dull for sure.

It probably won't do miracles with the K701/2. It's notoriously hard to drive, and as good as the EF2 is for the price it is not a miracle worker.
