Another idiotic but interesting question. I have long hair

and when i take a shower everyday my hair takes a long while to dry (im not gona blowdry or anything like that) when i put on my cans is that doing anything bad to them. Im not talking drenched , but damp. Is it damaging the velor ear pads on my 555s or anything like that.:

I'd reckon they'd affect the pads in the long run. It's not a shame to wait for wetlessness. Ess.

Fellow longhair checking in. I either let mine dry adequately (which doesn't take long; my Indian teepees-not-dots hair is fine and doesn't hold water for long despite its long length) or don't listen to my headphones. Aside from the possible long-term decay of the pads, I'd worry about the increased local humidity hurting the drivers.
