When googling for the cheapest price for Westone UM3x I came across this site:

They offer the piece for 190eur which is suspiciously cheap. Is it fake or real? Well I ordered one and I didn't give them any number of my credit cards... I chose to pay via wire transfer. They emailed me the document 'PROFORMA INVOICE' in which it is explained how to make a payment.

There is one thing I don't understand in the document:

An update. They mailed me back. It seems they make a mistake writing down the proforma:

Sorry is a mistake with another invoice we just issue now, this is the correct invoice.

I wouldn't trust it at all, worth paying that little bit extra to know you are getting a genuine product with full guarantee. Even if they are legit I doubt Westone will honour the warranty.
The Great Britain 'branch' is a residential address and the telephone number is a mobile number on either vodafone or o2, most likely PAYG.... :-/ doesn't inspire confidence

I have no comment on whether they are trustworthy -- but, if something goes wrong, isn't a credit card much easier to reverse than a wire?
