Hi Twister6 and xaddictionx
Thanks for the response.
My goal is almost there with either Pro50 or W60.
Therefore, I want to make a little more effort with those (to me, the price of W80 is very high.
I bought both at Amazon, so I have another 1.5 weeks to return. :)
Regarding the recabling, I found,
ALO LITS, Tinsel Wire (on sale), Ref8 (Expensive, I should go to W80 if this is the choice),
and Linum MMCX Bax, or Balanced.
Do you have any suggestion, or comments or something else you recommend?

What is your budget?  Since you mentioned Ref8 being expensive ($300), I assume you want to spend the least?  I do like BaX with W60.  Pure silver cables of a high quality are expensive, probably at least $350 from reputable cable makers like Whiplash, Effect Audio, PLUSSOUND.  I know there are cheaper ones from other manufacturers, but they probably going to be closer to silver plated copper quality (SPC).

Here is a thing.  Cable shouldn't change your sound drastically, it should only refine it.  In my opinion, if you prefer Pro50 over W60, don't expect miracles that a silver bullet (no pun intended ;)) going to transform W60 sound into W80.  Ref8 cable has a great pair up with Westone iems.  BaX will be great too, plus it's super thin.  As a matter of fact, Westone sells (or used to sell) a thin balanced cable which was a rebranded Linum cable, so you know it was well thought of.  I think you better off sticking to Pro50 since you are enjoying it's sound.

Btw, why are you looking at a balanced cable when you have Mojo and DF red, both of which are 3.5mm single ended sources?  Btw^2, both of these sources are not exactly neutral or bright, but lean more toward the warmer side.  When you combine it with IEMs which already tuned warm, lush, smooth - you are going the wrong way if you are looking for more resolution, brightness, and revealing details.

Hi Twister6

1. No, I look for unbalanced cable. I thought both ALO and Linum offer the choice of 3.5mm plug ( 3 poles) and MMCX for the other ends.
2. OK, I think I have to make decision whether to take finer tone sonority on W60 (agree) or, in detail reveal (agree). :)
I fully agree with you that cable is for fine tuning, based on my experience with my big stereo set.
Probably I should change my abater with transparent shell.

Could someone tell me is some visual difference between w40, w50 and w60 without faceplates? Going to buy second hand w60 with no faceplates, doubt how I can be sure that it's w60, but not w50 or w40...

I will have to double check when I get home, but i'm pretty sure there is either model marking on the nozzle or the body of the shell under c-clip faceplates. Also, serial number is on the nozzle, hard to see, but if you look closer under the light you can. So, in a worst case you can always contact Westone to cross check against S/N for verification.
