Hey guys.

A few years ago, I bought some Westone 3 IEMs.  They were my first high-end headphones, and I absolutely loved them.  I've used them for dozens of hours a week pretty much non-stop since I bought them, but today the inevitable happened and the right monitor stopped producing sound.

Anyway, Westone isn't around until after Christmas, so I can't call them right now to ask if they can repair it.  On amazon, I can see that Video and Audio Center is selling Westone 3 at $280, which appears to be a sale price that's going fast.  I'm kind of unsure where to go from here, because if I can't get my headphones repaired I should buy new ones before they go out of stock, but even then I can't tell if the Video and Audio Center is actually an authorized dealer.  They say they are, but I can't find any outside confirmation.

Basically, what do I do?  Wait to find out f repairs are possible, or buy the new pair now because they won't be?  Does anyone know/have advice?

Thanks in advanced.
