Are they identical expect for the different housing and connectors like their universal counterpart, the um30pro/um3x?

Probably not since ES3 is discontinued.
I recommend W60 as you can always sell it if you don't like it,but if you have the money go for the too range ES60.

But the um3x is also continued and replaced with the um30pro and are the same.
I prefer the um30/um3x over the entire um/w range hence why I'm asking.
