Hello everyone,
I'm new to head-fi and this is my first post! I've been following this site for a few years but never thought of posting.. that is until now. So I currently own a pair of Westone 3, UM1, Super.fi 5 Pro Universal Fit IEMs but I am thinking of upgrading to Custom Fit's IEM's. I either run everything through an Apogee duet or directly into my iphone while taking the bus to work.
After reading some reviews I'm thinking of going with the JH Pro 5. My question is:
How much of a difference is there in sound quality between the custom IEM's such as the JH Pro 5's/UE5 vs Westone 4's/Shure 535/any other high-end universal fit IEM? I considered Westones/Livewires/Fidelity/AlienEars/UniqueMelody but have ruled these companies out for one reason or another. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
