Hi,

I've recently ordered the Westone 3 to use with my Cowon S9.
I am really interested in amping them with the Mustang because I read many great things on their synergy with the W3.

However, I am new to the world of portable amps so I am not sure how I would be able to set up the rig. Do you connect the S9 to the Mustang with a mini to mini cable?

If so, I am wondering if a 22G Cryo Mini to Mini or a ALO SXC Cryo 22awg Micro Mini to Mini would do the trick. However, there is a $10 difference between those two cables, so is there really a difference in sound quality?

If you want warm, clear, more dynamic sound with rich bass then ALO Jumbo Cryo 18AWG willbe better but between these two cables i will recomand 22AWG SXC micro mini to mini.

When I was shopping for my Mustang Ray said it paired very well with the westone 3 and I hadn't even mentioned headphones at that point so you should be quite happy. You might be surprised at the size of it though it's tiny!
