I just came across this Westone 3 Limited Edition :: Westone 333 made and it seems it has the revision to the design that the westone 1's had with the extended tubes I am not sure if it was posted in the appreciation thread but since I don't see it I will go ahead and start a new thread for it.
Looks like the same housing to me. The only difference I get from that link is possibly a better build tolerance and the gold scheme. For what you pay for the 3 you should get that build tolerance anyway. They can keep the t-shirt, key chain and all that. How about a limited edition that has a larger soundstage or something worthwhile instead of including a paperweight?
I had one of the original limited edition Triple.fi's. At least they came out before the "regular version". In the end it is the same ear phone and the other stuff will probably go in drawer somewhere.
