With the body weight of 584, around 700g including the case, it seams to be trans-portable.
Very interested in the sound signature.
I'm good with M9, the net weight of 500g, which I feel very heavy in my pocket. :D

I can't imagine putting any dap except those miniature daps in anything except a hoodie pocket. Which is why I have that case that lets me store my dap and listen while on the go.

For me the make or break will be if it can stand toe to toe or do better in SQ than LP6pro. I'd love to have an android player with the specs this one has otherwise.
After RS6 I've serious doubts that Hiby can do something close to LP products but would like to have a modern version of LP Daps also :)

Sorry you feel that way rs8 >= LP6.
Someday I'll check it, but all Hiby daps were more about ergonomics whereas LP is more about sound. But I hope you are right and we finally have a competitor for LP. Competition is always good as helps companies grow.

I gather from what I have read that good R2R sound has a lot to do with how the components are implemented and not just having a given number of quality components so I will be very interested to see what people say when this comes out. I really want a full featured player like this, but it has to have that SQ

Everyone I've talked to who have compared both call rs8 the winner. You can include myself in that statement.
Both ? Lp6ti? P6pro? Or wich one ?…
Sounds weird, cuz statement was about lp products in general
Anyway, rs8 already out from my list
But it’s definitely step up over rs6 and someone’ll like it
