Okay, so, I got these around Black Friday for about $67.  An excellent deal, no doubt.  They sound quite good, but I've noticed something weird about the fit.  The earpads (specifically, the part around the opening) seem thicker (wider?) than what's normal (compared to, say, the Sony V6).  Being that the opening is about 5 1/2 by 3 3/4 cm, they're almost supra-aural.  I have fairly normal-sized ears, about 6cm tall by 3cm wide, so that's not really the issue.  They're just a tad uncomfortable.
 
So, has anyone else noticed this?
 
One more thing, the box wasn't sealed at the bottom.  They were obviously new, but is that normal?
