Hi Guys

I have a weird problem with my sony mdr-g72. They are some kind of old (about 4-5 years) and the wire connection at the headphone is having a hard time. Usually, when I played with the wire of headphone with broken connections, only one side was producing sound. Now I can basically cut off some frequencies by playing with the wire. The bass is getting dramatically weak and the voice sounds like a tiny echo in the background. Nonetheless, the guitar is still very close to be normal.

Did it ever happens to you?

My friend, it's time for either a recable or new cans. 4-5 years as a beater can isn't a bad lifespan - she's had a good run, time to put her down.

I think that 4-5 years was a really good life span. I used them really hard, each day during this period. I know that their time is done, but I just found funny the modifications in the sound that I could do just by playing with the cord.

Maybe I will try to recable them, just for fun. I never did it before and I would like to get some experience in that field.
