I just noticed this today. I do not know what is happening or why but whenever I plug my headphones into my amp now there is a very soft buzzing sound. I can't hear it if I just play audio over it but it is still there and I notice it a lot when gaming.
I have recently bought all new parts for my computer other than my sound card the Essence STX. I have also plugged my headphones into the STX's headphone out port without any buzzing. I don't have another amp to test the analog out ports on though.
Could my amp just be getting old?
EDIT: Almost forgot to say that my amp is an Asgard 1 but it was the batch after they fixed the headphone driver flex issue. I also tested with another pair of headphones and the buzzing was still there.
