I've been searching high and low both google and on this forum where i think i first got linked to it for a specific website. The entire website was dedicated to raising awareness of hot recordings, that is the modern method of squishing the dynamic range to get every last bit of loudness out of a disc.

The site had a quote form the spinal tap on the top, along with CDs which were recorded hot, a history of why and how of this modern technique, and banners/ fliers about raising awareness against it.

Does anyone have the link handy?
