I have problems with my shure E5 IEM.The sound of the left channel is way more softer than the right channel.(Tested it on several amps.)
Sometimes the sounds comes back normally, the same level as the right channel.
I know you are not psychic but could you maybe tell me if this is a more frequent problem of the E5.
I allready send the plugs to the importer in the Netherlands and have to wait what they will find out.

Dealer replaced the filters. They seemed to have clogged up with earwax I think.Anyone had this problem?
This was not a warranty case.Cost were € 60,-...(included delivery)
Is it possible to get the filters out yourself for a cleaning?I think you need a special tool to remove them.

I haven't had your specific problem. My E5c developed a channel imbalance as well, but that was only 3 weeks after I purchased them. They were replaced by the store with a new pair.

Interesting that cleaning the filters can be an issue. I don't believe the E5 is designed to have user-replacable filters the same way the E4c is.

Best,
