How can I use the analog out?

Right now I've connected a mini to RCA cable with a quarter inch adapter, is there another way to force RCA to 1/4"? (sorry if this is confusing, I'm flustered!!)

I have the Waveterminal, and I use one of these to connect to my amp.

Is that what you're trying to do?

yeah thats what I'm trying to accomplish!

Would that cable be superior to my 1/4 adapter to y cable connection?
