You thinik this card is any good? built in amp looks nice.

had this card.. best ADC available, same as E-MU 1212m/1820m, DAC is 6ch the same as on M-Audio Revo 7.1.. good drivers and such, the headphone amp is crap.. good drivers as always at ESI, not worth it's retail price these days when you can have better card for the same or even less money..

but yes, some revisions used TL082, some NJM4580.. better than NE5532 either way..

The caps on this thing look microscopic....will that effect bass?

How was the power rail decoupling done on the cards you've heard with 5532s? Asking beecause I read that this opamp wants direct rail-to-rail decoupling and will sound like dog poo when decoupling each rail to ground individually, as it's usually done with other opamps (and works fine there).

I don't know anyone (manufacturer) using rail to rail bypasses on opamps.. WT192X is not a great platform for modding efforts, better look for something else if you're interested in outputs only..

Well, then I'm not surprised that 5532s don't do very well there (provided what I read is right, of course). They can't be *that* bad per se if even the highly acclaimed Benchmark DAC1 uses them - looks like correct implementation is the key.
