This player is suppposed to support WAV-format. But why can't I tranfer wav-files to it? Sonicstage allways converts them to Atrac3+ 64kbs format. I changed options that it should ask if it can't transfer. But no it still converts. I can change the conversion to 320kbs or to MP3 but WAV won't go through as it is. I use sonicstage 3.0. Anyone know how to fix that?

Functioning as designed, folks. Sony only supports MP3 or ATRAC/ATRAC3 on the player. When you look at the caveat on Sony's site for supporting WAV, it clearly says:

ATRAC3™ Format
Supports unsecure files with conversion to ATRAC3™ format.

Right. For Sony the words "plays back" means the unit will play that type of file and "supports" means it can be transcoded to Atrac for playback. That same wording used to get many people to buy the netMD minidisc recorders because they thought "supports mp3" meant can play mp3.
