What would happen if I were to drop my KSC75s in a sink full of water?

They would not only get wet I suppose, but drown aswell

Are you sure you didn't had an answer to the question before making a thread of it..

Why don't you try and let us know what happens. Don't forget to put them in water and then put them right on your ears and blast some music! Let us know your impressions.

When I tried it, it transformed my KSC75's and sounded like K1000's!!!

Would it not affect anything other than their dryness/wetness?

Wondering as to how it would affect things.

Err... Why? I mean I love singing to my favorite song in the shower as much as the next guy, but with headphones on?

Ofcourse it would have effect on other things! Your drivers and everything else made of metallic will oxidate for sure and may lead to shortcircuits I guess and your soundqual will be destroyed forever!
They will mold from the inside also probably.

Maybe you should take one for the team and find out for us. By dropping a pair of powered electrostats in a tub of salty water...
