I do not have an account with these people, and never would
use their services. Yet they took a name that did not match the
name on my credit card, and my credit card number from a computer
in indonesia and racked up quite a bill. Their completely lax security
policies coupled with a really bad attitude puts the quality of their
service into question.

Of course i'll get my money back and that credit card number has
already been canceled.

Just a warning

That sucks, sounds like either they or people acting on their behalf got hold of some hot credit card numbers and just decided to try charging them.

I'm extremely careful with my credit cards. How the number got
into the hands of a sleezeball in indonesia i don't know. Or they
have new versions of creditcard number generators and found one
that works.

The company in question does absolutely no address/name/security
number verification of any kind. They will take money from anyone,
real or fraudulent. And if no one notices then they make more money
for their overpriced service.

I've also seen a ploy where companies that offer services give out money to "associates" that bring in customers that sign up. In this case the associate gets hot credit card numbers and signs them up for the service and then gets the bounty from the original company. This avoids them having to get a credit card account and still makes them money.
