Warmer Amp for Under $120

It appears I'll have at most $120; this leaves me with either the Vali, E12, or Ocean. Because of the lack of specs on the Ocean, I'll probably go for one of the others. The E12 has been recommended to me by a good friend, and may be better for my low impedance Grados. I'll likely go with the E12, but I'll be doing some more research in the next couple days.

Thanks everyone for reading and for your help, it's truly appreciated.

As a Grado and E12 owner, I don't know why this would be true. The Vali is the better overall amp, and it's low output impedance is plenty low enough for Grados.

Bah, here's the problem, having seen you around and trusting your word, I also trust my friend's word. One says the E12 is better, one says the Vali is better. It's quite hard to decide when being told two different things

I'm still researching right now. I'm asking other Vali + Grado owners their opinions at the moment, as well as reading plenty of reviews, trying to find ones that mention Grados.

To be totally honest, I'm flipping back and forth a lot; I love my FiiO gear but loved the first Schiit gear I tried and would love to own some. At this very moment, the Vali is seeming more interesting, but as I said, I may flip back. I believe I may have another few days to decide anyways.

Ask here and see what people say: http://www.head-fi.org/t/685162/new-vali-schiit-amp.

I'm sure there are both E12 and Grado owners in that thread.
