I've just sent my broken Shure E3C back to Shure to get a replacement. This got me thinking, as I'll receive a completely new&boxed SE210 in exchange to sell them and use the money to upgrade my IEMs a bit.

I've read the forums and people seem recommending Phonak Audeo - however from what I've read they are very natural sounding (i'm not an expert in musical terminology so I hope i remembered it right). From my own experience I've always enjoyed listening to music through headphones/speakers that had a "warm" sound.

So - are there any good IEMs out there that cost around 100GBP, would be an upgrade from E3C/SE210 and have a warm sound?

Thanks for the help.

Found them for 99 pounds so thats great.

Btw. does anyone know how the warranty for FS works? I've hard 2 pairs of Shure headphones break already but I have to say I was very impressed with their "no questions asked" replace policy.

So any other propositions or is Atrio M5 the way to go?

And - does anyone know a good internet shop to buy them in the UK? The only one I've found was handheldaudio.co.uk

Are they better? Or just an alternative?

Always thought about Sennheiser in terms of the big bulky headphones (I have HD555 - and I dont really like their sound).

IE7s are 20 pounds more than m5 so thats not really such a big problem if they are indeed better.

But are they better than the Atrios?

And about the isolation - how much worse are they? Can you still use them to block the outside noise while listening to music when riding a train or beeing on an airplane? And would a change of tips (maybe to the shure ones?) help that?

Tough choice :/

Btw - wouldn't the isolation depend on the sleeves? If I used the ones from shure, wouldn't I get the same level of isolation?

There are other factors involved, especially in the design of the housing and in the venting for the drivers (the IE7 is not vented though, AFAIK).
